More accurate than other sensors
The research-grade TEROS 06 soil temperature profile probe accurately measures and records soil temperature over time at six depths exceeding WMO recommendations. It is regularly used in the field and in lysimeters. TEROS 06 contains digital sensors at -5 cm, -10 cm, -20 cm, -30 cm, -50 cm, -100 cm. And, unlike other profile probes on the market, every TEROS 06 sensor is individually calibrated for the highest possible accuracy (±0.1°C).
Minimize soil disturbance
TEROS 06 has a small diameter of 20 mm to minimize soil disturbance, plus it was specifically engineered to eliminate heat transfer. The fiberglass-reinforced plastic body has a very low thermal conductivity, so there is no temperature carryover between profile layers. Stainless steel rings ensure excellent heat conductance from the soil to the sensor, so you know you’re only measuring soil temperature at a precise location.

The TLC Meter is ideal for profiling conductivity and temperature in wells and openwater. It displays accurate measurements of conductivity and temperature on aconvenient LCD display.
Conductivity measurements are read from 0 to 80,000 µS/cm with readings givingaccuracy of 5% of reading or 100 µS (which ever is greater).
Water level and probe depth measurements are read off the Solinst durable flat tape,which is accurately laser marked each millimeter or every 1/100 ft. Tape lengths areavailable up to 300 m (1000 ft).

The FOG calcimeter enables the measurement of the carbonate content in soil samples. This is a decisive parameter for soil fertility and plant health, but also in other areas such as in the production of cement and porcelain or for deep drilling. With the digital recording of data, ease of use and small footprint, the FOG calcimeters offer many advantages over the traditional Scheibler apparatus.
As with the Scheibler method, hydrochloric acid is added to the soil or sediment sample and the carbonate content is determined via the CO2 production. However, this is not done via the volume, but via the increase in pressure - with patented temperature compensation and very accurately. Once the measurement is complete (approx. 30 seconds), the result is displayed immediately and saved automatically.
The FOG-II Field-Calcimeter is supplied with all accessories in a portable field case. The measurement is carried out using a battery-operated hand-held device with internal memory for 50 measurements and an optional GPS receiver.

The ku-pF MP10 is a laboratory instrument for the automatic determination of unsaturated hydraulic conductivity ku and the pf curve (water tension curve) in accordance with the evaporation method on up to 10 soil ring samples simultaneously. The ku-pf apparatus works independently of a PC due to the integrated data logger and a microcomputer. A connection must be created to the PC only for maintenance, test start and reading out of the data. The ku-pF apparatus is available as a single measurement station ku-pF SP.

The apparatus is designed for the use of the UGT soil sample rings with 250 cm³ inner volume and 41 cm² cross sectional area. These soil sample rings have bore holes arranged exactly at height intervals of 3 cm for the insertion of the tensiometers. However, they may also be used for obtaining samples separately from the ku-pf apparatus.

The filled soil sample rings are set onto filter plates, saturated and sealed basally in the carrier basket for the test run. The gradient resulting from the condensation on the free ground surface is recorded by two tensiometers which record the corresponding water content and the flow rate by periodical weighing respectively. The Tensio 130 tensiometers with particularly small ceramic cup (Ø = 6,5 mm / L = 20 mm) provide exact measurements with a minimum destruction of the soil. Air bubbles are easy to recognise and eliminate through the acrylic head with bleed screw.

The arrangement of the samples on the star shaped carrier which rotates at the set test interval permits the examination of 10 samples simultaneously. The sample on the weighing position is lifted from the carrier by lifting the scales so that it is standing free. The weighing data and the tensions here are stored on the internal data logger. Automatic measuring produces continuous measurement series with a minimum of monitoring. The scales are automatically balanced between weighings. Drift effects or any foreign bodies on the scales do not therefore cause any interference.
