Automatic Weather Station

An Automatic Weather Station (AWS) is a self-contained networked system that continuously measures meteorological parameters without manual intervention. It’s composed of a data logger, various sensors, a power system, and a communication module. AWS systems can operate in remote or harsh environments, transmitting data in real time to servers or cloud platforms for analysis.

Key Features

·         Multi‑sensor capability: Measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, and precipitation.

·         Optional sensor integration: Solar radiation (pyranometer), soil moisture, soil temperature, leaf wetness, air quality sensors.

·         Data logger / collector: Central processing unit that collects data from all sensors, stores it, and relays it.
