The Solinst LevelVent 5 is a vented version of our popular Levelogger®. The highly-accurate datalogger is designed to record water level and temperaturemeasurements during shallow groundwater and surface water deployments.
The LevelVent 5 logger contains pressure and temperature sensors, a battery,memory for up to 150,000 data logs, and hydrophobic filter within a 22 mm x 173 mm(7/8\\\" x 6.8\\\") stainless steel housing with a corrosion-resistant coating.
The LevelVent uses a gauged pressure transducer; it is open to the atmosphere viaa vented cable to the wellhead. The compact LevelVent wellhead is designed to fit ina Solinst 2\\\" Well Cap Assembly, and provides easy connection for communicationaccessories.
The vented cable and Solinst LevelVent 5 logger are protected from moisture by permanent, built-in desiccants and hydrophobic filters in the logger and the wellhead.

Complete curves made easy
PARIO uses automation to shrink the time and effort needed for soil particle size analysis. It calculates the particle size distribution by Stokes' law, with a range spanning from 63 μm to 2 μm, finally making it easy to obtain a complete particle size distribution curve, instead of just a few measurements at discrete time points.

PARIO adopts the same sample prep your lab already uses, so it fits perfectly into your existing workflow. It reduces errors by replacing and automating the lengthy "hydrometer" portion of the process using the new, more accurate "Extended Integral Suspension Pressure Method" (ISP+). This method does not require the insertion of a hydrometer or sampling of suspension volume with a pipette, which disturbs the sedimentation process. The IRROMETER Tensiometer is the standard in accurate soil moisture measurement, offering growers an inexpensive and reliable means of measuring soil moisture for irrigation scheduling. An IRROMETER will measure the actual soil water tension, which indicates the effort required by root systems to extract water from the soil. Because the IRROMETER is a true measurement of soil water potential, the instrument is not affected by salinity and does not require site calibration.

The SSAT is a suction lysimeter that allows extraction of soil water samples from various depths for measurement of nitrate levels, salinity, EC, and other chemical elements. When used in conjunction with tissue analysis for calibration, nutrient management practices can be developed which allow the grower to adjust the rate and timing of fertilizer applications, resulting in increased production with decreased fertilizer costs and reduced nutrient leaching.
